- Planning and design is now underway for renovation of all remaining portions of each unit (upgrade in 2009).
- Changes in Hyatt Staff and Guest Programs - Hyatt vacated the on-site Sales Manager position and added a non-commissioned Conceriege (Richard!). Hyatt also transferred funding of the Monday morning continental breakfast from Hyatt Marketing to owner Maintenance Fees. [Is this typical of a mature resort which is sold out?] A tip of the hat goes out to the new Resort Manager Bruce Hagemann, a long-time resident of Key West.

"$40K landscaping program with over 100 trees planted; EXCELLENT Customer SERVICE; Building # 3 being painted on the outside; Gazebo and water fall on hotel property has all been redone and working GREAT" [May 2008] .
